I got mine from the armory. Quick shipping and good customer service IMO.

I ordered 1k of the Wolf HP because that's all they had in stock. Even though it may say "in stock" be sure to add it to check if it's really in stock. Most of their stuff didn't appear to be in stock right now. I paid around $190 shipped (or right around there) for the HP.

Does AIM give C&R discount? They don't have my license yet, but I'm curious.

I've never seen an ammo discount for C&R holders. Only discount you're going to get is buying in bulk. Maybe.

I just hit several sites checking out the price and about the only thing going for wolf is $190 per 1000 delivered. Anything more is too much. You can find that all over. Wolf has been just fine for me so far.

What about good prices within 20 miles of Cumming? Anything close in price to what I can find online without the shipping wait or cost? Thanks for the replies so far!

I'm only shooting Wolf through the AK. Remington UMC for the AR (even though I haven't shoot it yet ;)).

They roll their blankets around ammo so that it retains its shape!

Try 400 Pawn and Jewelry or whatever it is called on the north end of Cumming. They are about 10 miles or so north of Hwy. 20 on the west side of 400 in a Publix shopping center if I remember correctly.I think they sell the wolf for about $200/1000 or a little under $5 for 20 round boxes.

Yes, 400 Pawn and Jewelry. It is in the Publix shopping center at the corner of Hwy 400 and Hwy 53. I believe they offer price breaks at 500 and 1000 rds. It isn't marked, I asked.

Last time I was in Forsyth Pawn in Cumming, they had Barnaul 7.62x39. I don't remember the price, but I believe it was about the same as wolf. (It is Russian Ammo like wolf)

Barnaul, IMO, is much better than Wolf. Most Barnaul is in a nickel plated steel case. It doesn't seem to be as dirty, nasty as Wolf either. Plus the price should still be fairly close between the two.

The last 7.62x39 I bought was at the Macon gunshow. $105/500rds OTD.
Not too bad, not too good, but them's the breaks...
