and I think someone asked about my bringing my daughters air pistols.

And I can't forget LOTS of ammo !!!

155mm is the M198 howitzer, soon to be replaced by the M777. I was out in 29 Palms not to long ago and saw those. I used to work on the sight systems for the M198 when I was in the Marines, among other fire-control and optical systems.

The M109A6 is also commonly called the Paladin, it's a self propelled howitzer.

The M119 is a towed howitzer and the M109 is self motivated.

If I would be in the country and get it out I would bring a M1A1 (120mm) and a M2A2 (25mm).
