What does "These rounds were not intended for use in a polygonal style bore!!!!" mean?

I know several pistol manufactures use polygonal bores.. What kind of ammo isn't intended for them and why?
They're lead rounds.

Polygonal barrels don't like lead. You'll lead your barrel out fairly quickly running lead ammo through 'em.

Now if they would just run a deal on .223...
Try the hunting shack!

I don't know how good $300 for 1000 rounds is, though (fired brass).
The SIG has conventional rifling, while the post 1994 USP's have polygonal rifling.

Now, this source may or may not be accurate - but it looks like you Sig guys would be good to go using lead bullets!

That's a good price, but I haven't heard too many good things about THS.
I wouldn't know much about their .223 ammo, but I know their never fired .308 168g match ammo shot amazingly tight groups in comparison to other leading match ammo from other manufacturers. :p
