A buddy of mine has a 1937 Colt 1911 NAVY version that he needs to sell (his house is fixing to get foreclosed on). It is 95% or better and needs a fair valuation. The blue book says $1700 to $2450 but to add 200% for the Navy version(really)? Any idea if this is legitimate or is it a pipe dream in this economy? Two crooks offered to buy it outright after running it down. (been re-blued...wrong slide...wrong markings etc... BUT still offered $1000 to take it off his hands LOL)
