It's not a collection. He is an illegal arms dealer, selling to felons.

I have reached the point where that doesn't mean much. Seeing as the left wants to put us all in jail.

Of course. Gun owners like us are the enemies of the cops and the gov't, right?
So we should view illegal dealers and smugglers as comrades in the fight against society's overlords, right?

They say this was from a house in a super expensive neighborhood - movie star neighborhood.

You're being facetious, aren't you? Or I'm reading different news stories than you are.

At some point in time, if things go upside down in this country, illegal dealers and smugglers might be your best friends.

I wonder how many of his guns will go missing in transport/storage.

Yeah, if he's an FFL, and especially if his federally-registered FFL business address is his residence, that pretty much makes the "probable cause" for the raid to evaporate, if the search warrant was based on firearm sales out of his home.

Now if there was credible evidence with some informant who has both proven veracity (tells the truth, has provided good info in the past) and a logical basis of knowledge (can explain how he knows the things he says he knows and was in a position to see the things he claims to have seen), and that infomant says it wasn't just GUNS, but MACHINE GUNS, SILENCED GUNS, unlawful ASSAULT WEAPONS under CALIFORNIA'S A.W.B., and .50 BMG weapons (also illegal in Cali.), THEN it could be a good raid, with good charges to be prosectuted in court.

    It's his home. It doesn't matter if there's a park - or a school - next door.

Apparently that was his PLACE OF BUSINESS, too. Selling a metric crap-ton of guns out of that home to anybody who had $$.

And legal if the city granted him a business license and ATF approved.

Which is what FFLs attempt to do.

This is the issue. Did he follow all the rules all the time? Or did he engage in free enterprise with those of less stellar reputations? The "anonymous tip" indicated so. Now someone has to prove it.
