I may be selling my SKS soon, and I can't decide what to do with the ammo I have. It's ~1000 rounds of red army. If the going rate is crazy high, I'll try to sell it. If it's pretty standard, I'll likely store it with a friend for casual shooting.

I recently obtained a paratrooper model Sks and noticed a bar on the left side below the cover. Does anyone know what that is? I attached a picture. Thanks!
