A Tale of Two USPS Deliveries.

1 – I ordered a Trump yard sign from an Ebay vendor located in Cartersville on Oct 5. Vendor ships it Oct 6. She figured two days delivery. After all, it’s only a 45 minute drive to Rome. It then disappears from the postal system. Vendor puts a trace on it and it’s discovered in Memphis, TN. Sign is finally delivered on Oct 14. Eight ( 8 ) days total.

2 – I mail a letter to a state agency in Atlanta on Oct 13 via Priority Mail. It should be delivered on Oct 14. It promptly disappears from the postal system. I put a trace on it on Oct 17 and it’s discovered in Greensboro, NC. It finally returns to Atlanta on Oct 21 where it languishes in the postal system undelivered until today, Oct 26. Thirteen (13) days total.

This is the same USPS that’s going to efficiently accept, handle and deliver some 50-70 million (?) absentee ballots for the general election? We are in Clusterf*ck Nation. :drink:

Ok, so, I am still stuck on this nanotech ink .... found this very interesting

https://www.nanowerk.com/spotlight/spotid=26917.php

I know, I know, some of you guys have known about this for quite some time.

I recall a GBI agent coming to my High School years ago (uh ...decades) to lecture our class about his job, what he does, investigations he has been involved in etc. etc. (believe it or not, his specialty was busting moonshine operations).

One of the things he talked about was counterfeit money. He showed us all the different ways you could tell if money was genuine or fake. You can take a tweezer and pick out blue and red fibers in the cloth (it is not paper), and the dye can be rubbed off if you press it against white paper, you will see green dye. There were a few other things he mentioned ....but just thought it was interesting.

and just how far has this tech gone since 2005? https://www.azonano.com/article.aspx?ArticleID=1344
