I had heard that it was taking up to two months to get one but my wife and I applied on a Thursday and we had our licenses the following Friday. You are finger printed in the locked area at the sherrif's department and their may be jailbirds being finger printed at the same time or being walked from one cell to another. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
