Fingerprinting is done at the Harold R. Banke Justice Center, 9101 Tara Blvd. Jonesboro, GA. The office is located on the second floor in "Records." The hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
The firearms license application fee is $39.00 cash only and must be paid at the time of application. NO CHECKS.
Bring a small, self-addressed stamped envelope at the time of application. If your application is approved, your license will be mailed to you. If your application is denied, you will be notified.
This was a very pleasent expieriece. The clerk was very friendly. just an overall good job. I get to the jail to have my prints done,the lady
in records tells me the machine is broken. I will have

Applied on December 28, 2006 and license issued January 17, 2007. I recieved them by mail on January 19th (Take a self addressed stamped envelope). Very friendly staff.
