Process: | Make your way downtown to the courthouse, have some change available for the meter, $.25 should be enough for plenty time to get everything done. Enter the courthouse, empty all pockets, pass through the metal detector, take a right into the probate office. You will fill out a Firearms License form and make check payable to Clarke Co. Probate for $15.00. Next, take your forms down to the first floor to the Sheriff's office, fill out fingerprint forms along with making out a check payable to Clarke Co Sheriff for $45.00. They will fingerprint each finger on each hand electronically, and send you on your way. Staff was courteous and swift with the process. |
